The lack of space inside workshops is, for many stone-masons, the most common hindrance to the purchase of a C.N.C. machine which really suits their needs. Once again, “Helios Automazioni” proves to be particularly close to those needs and introduces “Kompact”, the new and revolutionary 3, 4 or 5 controlled axes work centre, conceived for all those customers who are willing to obtain the widest range of performances, the utmost accuracy and, at the same time, make maximum use of the space available. Ideal for profiling, milling, drilling, typing, sculpturing, and turning, this innovative C.N.C. machine offers an optimal and surprising ratio between overall dimensions and working area. As in all of the “Helios” machines, the axes are moved by Brushless motors; ball screws and prismatic ball guides guarantee the precision in moving. The machine is completely lined in anti-corrosion materials in order to ensure maximum structure life. The working plane is of ground aluminium and the tool store is placed on the back side. “Kompact” is available in the double version “Standard” and “Plus”, with a 7,5 HP or a 12 HP ISO 40.
