ZT JET

The ZT JET combines all the tools needed to perform all types of cutting, profiling, and polishing of surfaces and edges in a single system. It is equipped with a five-axis waterjet head and a five-axis multifunctional operating head with automatic disc and tool changer. This innovative solution ensures all the tools available to move from raw materials to finished product. The system is equipped with two tables, one for disc and waterjet cutting and the other for profiling and finishing. In the Robo-Move version, the transfer of the pieces from the cutting table to the finishing table is fully automatic. Helios Automazioni has developed the ZT JET to meet the ever-increasing demands for precision and productivity, as well as the high cutting quality and finishing of stone and ceramic slabs for interior design applications. The ZT JET combines hardware and software solutions to achieve perfect cuts for both variable-thickness slabs and veined materials where vein continuity (vein matching) is required, even in projects requiring multiple slabs. Thanks to simple and intuitive programming solutions, the operator can solve complex design problems. The entire machine structure is stainless steel built, including the water tank, to ensure extreme durability and limiting maintenance operations only to simple cleaning. The use of recirculating ball screws and guides for the linear axes and Harmonic Drive reducers for the rotary axes ensures maximum precision in the movements and perfection even in interpolations. The latest-generation electronic components with EtherCAT technology allow real-time control of the machine parameters and remote monitoring. This offers significant advantages for process optimization and remote diagnostics. The ZT JET automatic production system saves on electricity and abrasive costs thanks to the combined use of operating heads. Furthermore, the machine's head unit is equipped with an exclusive dynamic pressure control system. This solution allows the operator to predetermine the pressure to be applied to the abrasives, thus achieving unparalleled polishing quality on both surfaces and edges.
